I bought turbos off a member here who had turbos rebuilt by Paul Andres and when I got them they had alot of shaft play, so much that the blade was rubbing against the side. They were sent back to Paul Andres and it appears they filled them with oil to check the shaft play and then sent them back to me the same as they were. I sent them to turbo city and when they inspected them they stated that standard size bearings were used when oversize bearings should have been used because inside the turbos were bored over. They replaced the bearings and shaft play issue is over. My suggestion never buy used turbos, eventhough some on the forum have well intentions, Many prefer the money than to be stuck with turbos that are no good.
